Mark Ray, PMP

Senior Program Manager

Mark joined NCDMM in 2022 and manages manufacturing and technology programs while maintaining and developing customer relationships. He also supports continuous improvement activities and strategic planning initiatives within the organization. Mark has over 20 years of experience leading projects and initiatives within the manufacturing and Department of Defense (DoD) industries.

Previously, he was a Senior Program Manager at Kennametal, Inc., leading projects focused on upgrading and modernizing manufacturing facilities around North America. He also spent 13 years at Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC), leading and supporting DoD projects focused on energy and environmental technology research, development, demonstration, and transition. In addition, Mark held several manufacturing positions at Johnson Matthey with increasing responsibility, including process control engineer, production supervisor, and process engineer team lead.

Mark holds a bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University and a master’s in Business Administration from Saint Francis University. He is also a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
