The Manufacturing Technology Deployment Group (MTDG) is the  not-for-profit holding company of the National Center for Defense Manufacturing and Machining (NCDMM) and Advanced Manufacturing International (AMI)

Established in 2020, MTDG is transforming the advanced manufacturing industrial base by driving innovation and accelerating growth.

MTDG is headquartered in Clearwater, FL.

NCDMM delivers innovative collaborative solutions to defense manufacturing stakeholders. NCDMM is a subsidiary of MTDG.

Established in 2003, our team specializes in identifying the needs, the players, the technologies, and processes to attain optimal solutions for our customers.

NCDMM is headquartered in Johnstown, PA. Additional offices are located in Chambersburg, PA; Murrysville, PA: Youngstown, OH; and Huntsville, AL.

Advanced Manufacturing International (AMI) is a subsidiary of MTDG.

Established in 2020, to advance innovative technologies and best practices into global manufacturing markets while expanding into the broader U.S. manufacturing sector beyond the defense industrial base currently served by sister company, NCDMM.

AMI is based in Clearwater, FL.

NCDMM Subsidiary Companies and Programs

Founded in 2020 by NCDMM, the Advanced Manufacturing and Applied Research Innovation Institute (AMARII) was established to advance manufacturing technologies that strengthen the industry in northeast Ohio. AMARII works to connect manufacturers in the region with funding opportunities.

Founded in 2020 in Huntsville, AL, the Advanced Manufacturing Innovation and Integration Center (AMIIC) has created a state-of-the-art demonstration facility. AMIIC is expanding workforce development programs to stimulate advanced manufacturing in northern Alabama.

In 2012, the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) awarded NCDMM with the Cooperative Agreement for America Makes – The National Additive Manufacturing Innovation Institute, the nation’s leading and collaborative partner in additive manufacturing (AM) technology research, discovery, creation, and innovation.

Established in 2023 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of NCDMM, El Paso Makes is committed to growing the region’s aerospace, defense, and advanced manufacturing ecosystem through education and workforce development, fostering business opportunities, and diversifying the nation’s defense industrial base.
