Jamie White

Director of Program Development

Jamie joined NCDMM in December of 2023 as the Director of Program Development. In his role, Jamie will plan, lead, and execute current NCDMM programs and serve as a trusted advisor to the manufacturing industry and the government to identify, develop, and prioritize new programs and business opportunities with the Department of Defense (DoD).

He brings nearly two decades of experience in managing DoD Research and Development initiatives aimed at enhancing the robustness of the U.S. Army industrial base by ensuring the ability to manufacture affordable and reproducible DoD weapon systems. Before joining NCDMM, Jamie worked for 18 years at the U.S. Army DEVCOM Aviation and Missile Center where he served in a variety of leadership roles.

Most recently, Jamie was the Aviation Manufacturing Technology (ManTech) Branch Chief, responsible for the management of staff and projects that supported the manufacturing of aviation weapon systems. His career also included roles as the Deputy Director of the Innovation Capability and Modernization (ICAM) Office, within the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment, Military Deputy Director of the Aviation and Missile Center, and the Lead Aviation General Engineer of the Manufacturing and Electronics Technology Division.

He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
