Beverly Farris

Finance Specialist

Bev joined NCDMM in August 2022 as a Finance Specialist bringing 20 years of accounting and finance experience in the defense industry. Her role with NCDMM is evolving but her current focus is on accounts payable and monthly billing. She has a wide range of experience in accounts receivable including use of the Wide Area Work Flow Government billing system, accounts payable, EFT and wire payments, payroll functions, and managing and producing multiple types of payrolls. Her experience includes assisting with month-end and year-end closing, performing journal entries and acting as a liaison during year-end audits.

Bev holds an associate degree in accounting from the University of Phoenix. She maintained a public notary commission for multiple years.

Prior to joining NCDMM, Bev worked at Martin-Baker America serving in many roles ranging from accounting clerk to staff accountant. She also held a position with DRS Technologies as an accounts receivable specialist.
