NCDMM’s Gary R. Fleegle Named Secretary
Blairsville, Pa. — November 5, 2014. The National Center for Defense Manufacturing and Machining (NCDMM) proudly announces that NCDMM President and Executive Director Ralph Resnick and Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Gary R. Fleegle were named Chairman and Secretary, respectively, of the Executive Board of the Manufacturing Division of the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA).
“I am honored to serve as Chairman of the Executive Board of the Manufacturing Division of the NDIA and help further the mission of enhancing the security of our nation through the advancement of manufacturing technologies,” said Mr. Resnick. “Both Gary and I look forward to collaborating with NDIA members and working to advocate national support for defense manufacturing.”
Mr. Resnick replaces outgoing Chair John Vankirk as Chairman. Prior to their appointments, both Mr. Resnick and Mr. Fleegle were longstanding members and active participants in the NDIA. On the Executive Board, Mr. Resnick and Mr. Fleegle join returning Vice Chairs Mark Gordon, Director for the National Center for Advanced Technologies and Kenneth Sullivan, Ph.D., the Associate Director of the Office for Enterprise Innovation and Sustainability in the Research Institute at University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH).
