NCDMM Welcomes Two New Alliance Partners

The NCDMM Board Approves Dynetics, Inc. and Identify3D, Inc.

Blairsville, Pa. — May 15, 2017. The National Center for Defense Manufacturing and Machining (NCDMM) proudly announces that its Board of Directors, at a meeting on May 2, 2017, approved the addition of two new Alliance Partners: Dynetics, Inc. and Identify3D, Inc.

“Collaboration is integral to our strategic and tactical model of delivering innovative manufacturing solutions,” said Ralph Resnick, NCDMM President and Executive Director. “NCDMM is dedicated to maintaining and cultivating an Alliance Partner network comprised of organizations leading the research and development of innovative manufacturing technologies. The addition of Dynetics and Identify3D further enriches our ability to advance U.S. manufacturing and ensure our nation remains globally competitive.”

Founded in 1974 and headquartered in Huntsville, Ala., Dynetics is a full-service engineering company with broad experience and personnel with expertise in hardware and software, systems integration, and test and evaluation (T&E). Dynetics develops and manufactures aerospace, electronic, RF, and mechanical products in-house for a wide variety of Department of Defense customers to fill capability gaps that can’t be satisfied with off-the-shelf items. The company specializes in the fabrication of prototype hardware and limited production programs, including ruggedized military equipment. Dynetics is CMMI® Level 3 and AS9100C certified and possesses the necessary skills, tools, and facility resources to rapidly design, prototype, and manufacture a wide range of aerospace and electronic products.

Identify3D is a leader in software for the digital supply chain, enabling companies to consistently and repeatedly secure intellectual property to ensure that products are produced according to defined engineering requirements and provide full traceability of manufactured parts. Specifically, the Identify3D platform secures the digital supply chain by enabling encryption of designs and coupling them with enforceable business and production rules, facilitating secure digital distribution, and providing production integrity and quality assurance all the way to the manufacturing device. Based in San Francisco, Identify3D helps engineers make better decisions, using in-depth analytics and reporting to enable innovation, optimization, and scalability across today’s disparate digital production platforms.

NCDMM established a team of Alliance Partners to support the activities of the Center with state-of-the-art skills and capabilities. One of the unique features of NCDMM’s approach to the development and deployment of best solutions is the effective integration of the specialized and innovative skills, technologies, and practices of these organizations. Each Alliance Partner provides a significant manufacturing technology expertise that can be directly applied to the manufacturing issues faced by Department of Defense and contractor facilities today.

NCDMM will continue to add Alliance Partners that support its mission and have a passion for advancing the capability of U.S. manufacturers through the development and application of state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques.
