NCDMM Welcomes Six New Alliance Partners

The NCDMM Board Approves Advanced Technologies Incorporated; Aleph Objects, Inc.; Mission Critical Composites; MZA Associates Corporation; Verify Inc.; and Youngstown State University

Blairsville, Pa. — October 25, 2018. The National Center for Defense Manufacturing and Machining (NCDMM) proudly announces that its Board of Directors approved the addition of six new Alliance Partners: Advanced Technologies Incorporated; Aleph Objects, Inc.; Mission Critical Composites; MZA Associates Corporation; Verify Inc.; and Youngstown State University (YSU).

“Through our diverse partnerships and collaborative model, NCDMM is fulfilling its mission of effectively delivering advanced manufacturing solutions, comprised of state-of-the-art technologies and methodologies, to the defense industry,” said Ralph Resnick, NCDMM President and Chief Executive Officer. “By leveraging our vast Alliance Partner network, we are able to rely on these cultivated and trusted relationships to assemble multidisciplinary teams that work together to develop the best solution. Advanced Technologies Incorporated (ATI) was founded in 1988 to provide engineering and fabrication research and development (R&D) services to the U.S. aerospace industry. In 2000, ATI became an employee-owned company and today, has established an outstanding performance record of providing quality products delivered on schedule to the aerospace industry. ATI has a diverse product mix and customer base, providing wind tunnel models and facility equipment; full-scale aircraft models, mockups, and training devices; full-scale composite rotor blade development, prototype components, tooling, and experimental vehicles; and composite component manufacturing.

Since its founding in 2011, Aleph Objects, Inc. is a privately held company that has undergone dramatic growth and has been named to Inc. Magazine’s fastest growing companies in 2016 and 2107. Based in Loveland, Colo., Aleph Objects is a free software, libre innovation, and open source, hardware company that manufactures the LulzBot line of industrial desktop 3D printers and related accessories. The company is committed to developing high-performance software and hardware that respect’s the user’s freedom to use, learn, share, modify, and improve technology. Aleph Objects’ products are free to be copied, modified, and converted by all users in order to drive rapid innovation and quality.

Mission Critical Composites (MCC) is a composite manufacturing company that serves the commercial space market sectors and the warfighter by manufacturing critical flight advanced composites hardware. Founded in 2010, MCC is a veteran-owned enterprise headquartered in Huntington Beach, Calif. MCC’s primary business is manufacturing composite parts and structures for commercial space and complex military composites for rotorcraft parts and structures for numerous Tier 1 and 2 defense companies.

NCDMM established a team of Alliance Partners to support the activities of the Center with state-of-the-art skills and capabilities. Each Alliance Partner provides a significant manufacturing technology expertise that can be directly applied to the manufacturing issues faced by Department of Defense and contractor facilities today.
