NCDMM Welcomes New Vice President of International Programs

Blairsville, Pa. — March 4, 2020. The National Center for Defense Manufacturing and Machining (NCDMM) proudly announces the addition of Dan Nagy as Vice President of International Programs.

Dan NagyIn this role, Mr. Nagy will be responsible for the global leveraging of NCDMM’s Alliance Partner strategic network by collaborating with key technology solution providers to identify international customers who can benefit from NCDMM’s advanced manufacturing expertise.

“I have had the pleasure of knowing Dan for the past eight years working with him while I served as a Board member of Intelligent Manufacturing Systems International,” said Dean L. Bartles, Ph.D., FSME, FASME, NCDMM President and CEO. “I have witnessed firsthand Dan’s professionalism and his international business acumen at work. His caliber of expertise and constant drive for raising the level of advanced manufacturing throughout our community is unrivaled. I am extremely pleased for Dan to become part of the NCDMM team and further cultivating opportunities for our Alliance Partners.”

Prior to joining NCDMM, Mr. Nagy served as the Managing Director of the Intelligent Manufacturing Systems (IMS), an international organization promoting innovation and integration of Industry 4.0 technologies through research projects, workshops, and World Manufacturing Forum regional events. In this capacity, he developed an extensive network of advanced manufacturing contacts both here in the U.S., as well as internationally. He was also a principal in developing the World Manufacturing Forum and World Manufacturing Foundation and served as the Board Vice President and Board member. He has served on various advanced manufacturing committees, expert panels, and speaks regularly at international events for manufacturing.

Mr. Nagy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Lycoming College, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Baker University.
