Scott joined NCDMM in August 2023 as the Contract/Subcontract Administrator. He is responsible for oversight of government contracts/grants and subcontracts/subrecipients including negotiations, identification of risks and mitigations, ensuring compliance with company policies, and Federal government and contract requirements.
Before NCDMM, Scott was the Senior Buyer for Elliott Group where he oversaw the procuring of turbomachinery and compressor components, analyzed costs to guarantee fair customer pricing, and fostered relationships with suppliers.
Prior to that, Scott worked for Leonardo DRS as a supply chain senior buyer and provided oversight for compliance, developed internal procurement policies and procedures for Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and ensured that buyers and subcontract administrators were trained to maintain accurate procurement files. He also spent 15 years at Concurrent Technologies Corporation, working his way up from Procurement Administrator to Export Administrator.
Scott earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance from the University of Pittsburgh and went on to complete a Master’s in Business Administration from Saint Francis University.
