Scott Crynock

Senior Project Engineer

Scott joined NCDMM in 2015 as a Senior Project Engineer where he is responsible for managing projects and providing engineering design and technical analysis, along with process coordination and implementation development. In this capacity, Scott supports project management, design activities, team leadership, and procurement.

Throughout Scott’s 26-year career, he has held various positions from Engineering to Management. Prior to joining NCDMM, Scott was the Operations Manager at DRS Technologies, responsible for overseeing the daily activities on the manufacturing floor of the ‘Build-to-Print’ defense contracting company in areas of Large System Builds, Small System Builds, Cable & Harness Assemblies, Circuit Card Assemblies, and Boresight calibration (calibration of the weapons systems for Apache helicopters). Previously, he held numerous government R&D positions at Kuchera Defense Systems/API Corporation with increasing responsibility, including Mechanical Engineer IV, Project Manager, Engineering Manager, and Quality Manager.

For 11 years, Scott was employed by Ener-Tech Associates, Inc., an engineering consulting company, where he served in a Technical Services capacity, providing engineering design in both mechanical and electrical capacities for industrial-based customers. Scott began his career with Bethlehem Steel Corporation as a Mill Engineer, supporting the design and technology of a hot-rolled steel environment.

Scott holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering Technology from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.
