Douglas K. Woods

President, AMT – The Association For Manufacturing Technology

Mr. Douglas Woods joined AMT-The Association For Manufacturing Technology as its President in April 2009. A lifelong manufacturing professional, Mr. Woods leads the Association’s drive to improve sales and market access for its members, while also providing services that lower their costs. Prior to joining AMT, Mr. Woods held a number of executive positions at several machine tool companies, including President of Parlec Incorporated and President and CEO of Liberty Precision Industries. He also held key management positions at Alliance Tool Corporation and its parent company, Cross & Trecker. Besides NCDMM, Mr. Woods sits on boards for the Reshoring Initiative; the MTConnect Institute; the National Association of Manufacturers’ Council of Manufacturing Associations; and the National Council for Advanced Manufacturing (NACFAM). He holds a B.S. degree in Business from Syracuse University.
