David Michalow

Finance and Accounting Director

Dave joined NCDMM in 2013 as the Finance and Contracts Manager and was promoted to Finance and Accounting Director in 2020. He has a combined 20+ years of finance and accounting experience in government accounting and energy fields. Dave is responsible for closings, audits, project status reports, financial statements, incurred cost submissions, and company metric presentations.

Before NCDMM, Dave was employed by API Technologies in Windber, PA, as the Cost Accountant and then promoted to Finance Manager. His career has also included positions at Strategic Energy, LLC, in Pittsburgh, PA, and for Orion Power Midwest in Robinson, PA.

Dave holds a master’s in Business Administration, an accounting concentration certificate, and a bachelor’s in Mathematics from Clarion University of Pennsylvania.
