David Michalow

Finance and Accounting Director

Dave Michalow joined NCDMM in 2013 as the Finance and Contracts Manager and was promoted to Finance and Accounting Director in 2020. Dave has a combined 20+ years of finance and accounting experience in the government accounting and energy fields. In his role at NCDMM, Dave is responsible for closings, audits, project status reports, financial statements, incurred cost submissions, and company metric presentations.

Dave holds a master’s degree in business administration, with an accounting concentration certificate, a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, and a minor in computer science from Clarion University of Pennsylvania.

Before joining NCDMM, Dave was previously employed by API Technologies in Windber, PA, as the Cost Accountant and then promoted to Finance Manager.  His career has also included positions at Strategic Energy, LLC in Pittsburgh, PA, and for Orion Power Midwest in Robinson, PA.
