Scott joined NCDMM in 2012 as the Manager of Communications and Special Programs with the responsibility for a variety of enterprise communication initiatives. In this role, Scott manages all aspects of NCDMM’s external communications across such mediums as web, social media, PR, print, trade shows, and other special outreach programs and events.
As a skilled marketing and creative professional with more than 20 years of experience, Scott has primarily worked in the high-tech manufacturing world as an independent consultant, marketing & communications manager, and creative director. Throughout his career, Scott has been a leader in marketing products and services to a wide range of industries using all of the tools of the modern marketer.
Prior to joining NCDMM, Scott served as Manager of North America Marketing and Communications for Kennametal within a global marketing team. His accomplishments included streamlining product offerings and reducing redundancies, developing proposals and presentations, and supporting sales functions and initiatives. He also held positions as Creative Director and Graphic Designer for Extrude Hone and as a Graphic Designer for Woodward & Lothrop inWashington, D.C.
Scott has a degree from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh where he majored in Visual Communication.
