Worldwide Advanced Manufacturing Symposium (WAMS) 2026

When

June 8, 2026 - June 11, 2026
All Day

The Worldwide Advanced Manufacturing Symposium (WAMS) is a bi-annual event that brings together global experts, researchers and industry leaders to explore the transformative potential of advanced manufacturing for space applications.

Scope

The 2026 edition focuses on advanced manufacturing as an enabler for space applications. Sessions will highlight emerging technologies that expand design freedom, streamline production, enhance product performance and reduce costs.

Highlights

· Technical sessions across key domains: propulsion, structures, RF systems, thermal management and more.
· Cross-cutting materials and manufacturing topics: additive manufacturing, joining, digitalization, and hybrid processes.
· Special sessions on technology transfer – exploring how space innovations can benefit other sectors, and vice versa.

More detailed information on the various conference themes can be found here.
The organisers welcome contributions from university students, particularly those undertaking MSc/PhD and in full-time education.
