The Manufacturing Technology Deployment Group (MTDG) is the 501(c)(3) not-for-profit holding company of both the National Center for Defense Manufacturing and Machining (NCDMM) and Advanced Manufacturing International (AMI)
Founded in 2020, MTDG is committed to transforming the advanced manufacturing industrial base throughout the world by driving innovation and accelerating growth.
MTDG is headquartered in Clearwater, Fla.
NCDMM is a subsidiary of the Manufacturing Technology Deployment Group, Inc. (MTDG).
Established in 2003, NCDMM delivers innovative and collaborative manufacturing solutions that enhance our nation’s workforce and economic competitiveness.
Our experienced team specializes in identifying the needs, the players, the technologies, and processes to attain optimal solutions for our customers. We connect the dots. That’s the NCDMM methodology.
NCDMM is headquartered in Blairsville, Pa, with additional offices in Chambersburg, Pa; Youngstown, Ohio, and Huntsville, Ala.
Advanced Manufacturing International (AMI) is a subsidiary of the Manufacturing Technology Deployment Group, Inc. (MTDG).
Established in 2020, to advance innovative technologies and best practices into global manufacturing markets while expanding into the broader U.S. manufacturing sector beyond the defense industrial base currently served by sister company, NCDMM.
AMI is based in Clearwater, Fla.
NCDMM’s Subsidiary Companies
The Advanced Manufacturing and Applied Research Innovation Institute (AMARII) was established in 2020 to advance manufacturing technologies that strengthen the manufacturing industry and economy of northeast Ohio. AMARII will work to connect manufacturing companies in the region with potential funding opportunities.
AMARII is a wholly owned subsidiary of the NCDMM and is based in Youngstown, Ohio.
The Advanced Manufacturing Innovation and Integration Center (AMIIC) was established in 2020 to bridge Alabama’s substantial workforce gap by stimulating northern Alabama’s advanced manufacturing sector through the creation of a state-of-the-art demonstration facility and a significant expansion of workforce development, training and education programs.
AMIIC is a wholly owned subsidiary of the NCDMM and will be based in Huntsville, Alabama.
NCDMM’s Initiatives
Founded by NCDMM, America Makes – The National Additive Manufacturing Innovation Institute, is the nation’s leading and collaborative partner in additive manufacturing (AM) technology research, discovery, creation, and innovation.
AMNOW focuses on transitioning additive manufacturing (AM) technology and the AM supply chain into the U.S. Army’s operations to enhance readiness and facilitate on-demand production of materials to support the warfighters on the battlefield.
Founded by NCDMM, the V4I Institute is an industry led consortium collaborating with industry, academia, and government to deliver value driven computation modeling and simulation solutions for R&D of products and processes.
