Industrial College of the Armed Forces Visits NCDMM*
March 25 - 26, 2010
Latrobe, PA

The Industrial College of the Armed Forces (ICAF) will again be visiting the NCDMM on March 25-26, 2010 as part of their Manufacturing Industry Study. ICAF is part of the National Defense University (NDU) and is the premier DoD joint education institution for national security resource management and strategy.

The Industry Studies program of the ICAF examines the resources component of National Secuity. The students are organized into 20 Industry Study seminars that analyze and evaluate defense-essential industrial sectors and assess their ability to satisfy national security requirements in peace and conflict.

The Manufacturing Industry Study is an essential part of the program. Manufacturing is the driving force behind America's economic prosperity and national security. It is vital to explore and understand the dynamic, globally competitive world of manufacturing. This industry study focuses on the use of advanced processes, new technologies, and innovative management methods to improve manufacturing.
